Can it handle spikes in volume?
Yes. Each referral, order, or receipt is processed as a separate document, so a spike of 100 incoming items in a single morning doesn’t create a queue that someone has to manually process. ClicScan distributes the work among various artificial intelligence models and scales to the one that provides the highest confidence level for each document, without the volume depending on a single person typing it out. What does happen during a real peak is that more fields are flagged for review if the scan quality drops: the batch isn’t left half-finished; anything questionable is flagged for review.
Do you read documents with signatures or stamps?
Yes. ClicScan processes invoices and receipts as they arrive from the loading dock: scanned, photographed, or with a receipt stamp over the text. It extracts the `signature_present` field to keep a record of whether the document has a signature, and if a stamp or ink smudge covers an important piece of information—such as a date or an order number—that field is marked as low confidence for human review instead of trying to guess what it says. The rest of the readable fields proceed as usual.
How does it get to my TMS or WMS?
ClicScan delivers the data in the format your system expects—CSV, XML, or JSON—and deposits it via the connector of your choice: email, SFTP/FTP, webhook, OneDrive, Google Drive, or SharePoint. From there, your TMS, WMS, or internal process retrieves the data without manual entry.
